Two-Regime Conformation of Grafted Polymer on Nanoparticle Determines Symmetry of Nanoparticle Self-Assembly

A two-regime conformational model of grafted polymers on nanoparticles is proposed, showing that the balance between brush and mushroom regimes governs the symmetry of the resulting self-assembled structures.
